Every athlete is treated as an individual at Horizon Personal Training. We focus on your athletes specific needs based on their age, experience, and position. We also put every athlete through a specific screen to figure out exactly what they need.
We focus heavily on injury prevention. Our goal is to never have any athlete get a non-contact injury. We do this by putting them through a fitness screen looking for compensations. These compensations, muscular imbalances, are pre-cursors to injuries. We use corrective exercises to align the body and correct these compensations.
We use speed and agility drills to build the necessary aspects of Field Hockey. We work on first step quickness, linear speed, and change of direction so that your athlete is always performs at their peak.
We focus on scientifically based and sport specific resistance training, so that your athlete can excel beyond expectations.
