Camps and Swim teams are great for young swimmers to learn the aspects of competitive swimming, but we offer your child the opportunity to become stronger in faster in the water by offering one-on-one swimming specific personal training. By providing these athletes with sport and event specific strength and conditioning, we can help them reach new PR’s and get to the next level.
Swimming Specific Personal Training
Swimming specific personal training, sometimes called ‘dry-land’ training, helps strength your swimmer for the unique needs of their sport. Using carefully picked resistance exercises, we can strengthen the specific muscles used to pull your swimmer through the water. We also make it “position specific” to make sure the muscles and joints needed for each specific stroke are strengthened and protected. We also train the individual energy systems needed for each event. We focus on explosiveness and power for our sprinters; endurance for out distancers; and a careful balance of both for our middle distance swimmers. We also use carefully picked nutrition principles to control muscle growth and weight to make your swimmer is pulling the most efficient body through the water
