Wrestling is an extremely demanding sport, it requires extreme bursts of explosion and power but also demands an intense amount of endurance. There are very few sports where an athlete is in constant movement for 2 minutes with bursts of strength and explosion throughout those 2 minutes. In most field sports the athletes body gets to rest between plays but with wrestling there is no break until the end of the period. With these unique demands we create a program that balances all of the requirements your athlete needs to excel. We focus on proper Olympic lifting and plyometrics to build explosion; we use appropriate resistance training to increase strength; and many drills that focus on the metabolic conditioning. We also put a heavy emphasis on nutrition to make sure your wrestler will make weight as well perform optimally.
